moving backgrounds

Is it possible to use moving backgrounds (Juicer-
Jumpbacks) in PowerPoint? If so, how do I do this?
Thanks!

Are you talkin' animated images or sidewards/upwards/downwards moving of
background ? The first you easily make inserting animated gifs as background
( be aware of size, resolution, weight upon pres, though ). The second you
get by applying a crawling effect on screen-sized inserted pictures and sync
them to come in at set intervals.

Thanks Gus for the reply. I'm referring to animated images.
A movie clip (AVI file) as the background for a PowerPoint
slide. The software Media Shout can do this however I
wasn't sure if it can be done with PowerPoint.
Thanks,
De

Thanks Jeff. I'll try that.

1) Create your background with all props showing on a large canvas and save
this as a GIF file.
2) import this GIF file into a new PP file, making sure that the PP slide
forms the ideal "Window" into the background. Then a) duplicate the frame b)
nudge the background to the side, and the c) duplicate etc until "scan"
complete.
3) Save entire show as GIFs and then patch them together as an animated GIF
using Animation Shop or equivalent

Now you have your moving background which you cab use in a PP show
