Moving between cells

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

Before I could move (switch, navigate) between cells by using the arrow keys (up, down, left, right). Now suddenly, this doesn't work and I can only go right using the tab key, or click on the cell in which I want to be. I looked through the preferences and didn't find anything that looked helpful. HELP! I want my arrow keys back!

Does anything happen when you hit the arrow keys?

What changed in your system of XL prefs from "before" to now?
