Moving cell text onto multiple lines

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

When I type longer phrases or sentences the text stays on one line and I can't seem to get it to move onto a second line even when I make the cell longer or wider - how do I make it look more like a paragraph than a long sentence?

Change the Alignment formatting of the cell to include the Wrap Text
attribute. You can also create line breaks within a cell by using the
CONTROL+OPTION+RETURN or COMMAND+OPTION+RETURN keystroke.
