Moving Contact Subfolders back to Categories

I did a 'click & drag of a few categories & created
subfolders of them under 'contacts,' but that removed
them from the category list--not good. How do I get them
back as category listings instsead of subfolders. The
program won't let me click & drag them back. Would it be
under Tools, Organize. I couldn't get that to work
either. Because some of these contacts are listed in
multiple categories, it has artificially reduced the #'s
in other categories.
Can anybody help???

Describe more accurately what you did.
Moving Contacts does not delete the category to which they belong. Just move
them back to the Contacts Folder from which you moved them.
