Moving documents from one web to another (read details)

Currently, someone created a project and used its sharepoint sub web folder
to store many generic documents within their department. I want to move
all these documents and sub folders they created over to the "Public
Documents" section of Project Server. Is there a way I can accomplish this
without opening each document, saving it locally and then uploading it to the
new public folder?

Try using the STSAdmin.exe utility to backup and restore the website.
