I believe this functionality went away in Office 03, but I need to verify and
I am also trying to understand the reason behind it. IF a user wants to drag
& drop multiple e-mails to a folder on a network drive, they can create a
shortcut, but they cannot drag to the shortcut directly. They used to be
able to save and/or copy directly to a network location. If I recall this
has something to do with security issues, and MS is also probably thinking
that Public folders can be used instead. Is there anything else I am
missing? I do know that there are 3rd party add-ons, such as slapstick which
might be able to accomplish this as well, but not positive our IT would allow
the installation.
Thanks in advance,
Nat
