Moving Email --not just copying it Outlook 2003

First of all, I apologize in advance if this has already been addressed here,
but have read all the posts I could find, and have not seen this particular
situation....

In our company our mailboxes fill up quickly. I found out how we can create
a folder (either on the desktop or anywhere else that makes sense) then we
can drag and drop our email into it. I showed our reps how to do this and
they're pretty psyched about it....but when we do this it leaves a copy in
Outlook and we have to go back and delete.

Is there a setting in OL that says to MOVE the emails rather than create a
copy? It's not a huge deal, but would be nice if this can be done easily.
THANKS in advance for any input anyone can give me on this. I've learned so
much through this discussion group!!!!

Use the archive function to a local pst file....
