Moving file to root folder

Hello,
I'm in desperate need of assistance. I had a previous web page under
the same name, I deleted (my pass pass web page) was I suppose too?
the associated files I see now some are still there. I continued to
upload my new site under the same site name. The site did load, but I
could onle see it by typing the same name twice
shimadakemp.com/shimadakemp.com By typing shimadakemp.com only a
portion of the home page can be viewed. I was told that I copied the
same file name twice uh..? and had to move the file to the root folder
uh... What file? the entire site? what is the root folder of my ftp uh?
could someone please help me?

Yes you are.

Your website server has FP extensions installed so you should NEVER use ftp
to upload your files. You should be Publishing your website via the http
method.

Secondly, either you have not created a website, or you not working on your
local machine with the website opened, as you have files being referenced on
your local machine's hardrive.

Third...DON'T use frames, especially as a newbie or you will go nuts very
quickly.

Also, looks like you may not have published the flash files...and a few of
the images on the index page.

You'll probably want to start over, and delete the files you have uploaded,
have your host repair the FP extensions, then PUBLISH your entire website
via HTTP method.

And always open your website on your local machine first before doing
anything within it.

Open FP
File | Open Website
open the website on your local machine, then work on it.
