Moving Key to new Laptop

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Greetings,

I have upgraded my mac to a pro. I have installed Office 2008 on the pro and used the original key. It will not run as it says that another copy is in use. How can I disable the version running on the prior machine so the new one won't see it and have this conflict?
