Moving mail folders to another disk

I need to configure Outlook 2003 with multiple email accounts. Outlook
creates a PST file for each email account. I couldn't find a way to
move the PST file (connected to an IMAP email account) to another
directory. File is always saved in the Documents and settings folder.
This is a problem for me, as my client is running out of space in disk
C and I would like to save the mails in the disk D.

You cannot move an IMAP .pst as it requires it to be in the default
location. When moved, the IMAP account will create a new .pst file in the
same location.

How to move an imap pst:

Close outlook. Make sure Outlook is not listed in Task Manager, Processes
tab a few minutes after you close it.

1 Open the profile (control panel, mail) and click on Data files.
2 Select the IMAP acct and click Open Folder to open the folder containing
the PST.
3 Move the PST to the desired location. *Do not rename the file* Outlook
creates a new file in the default location if you try to rename it - you can
only move it.
4 Switch to the Data Files window and double click on the account's data
file.
5 Now you'll get the 'can't find' error and can tell outlook where to find
it.
Close the dialogs and you are ready to restart outlook.
