I don't know if this was posted anywhere before and I'm sorry if it is
redundant.
However in Office 2007, I find that using the arrow keys to move an object,
moves the object a small distance. Earlier it would move the object a
considerable distance and if you wanted smaller increments, we would have to
press ctrl + arrow key.
I don't know if that was a change or a bug, but I think the majority of
users like being able to move things with large and small increments.
