moving office 2007 off my laptop to install on another laptop

hi all - i'm new to this so here goes. some time ago i bought office 2007
suite and installed it on my desktop (Vista) and on my laptop (XP pro) Now i
have recently bought a new laptop and want to remove office 2007 from the old
laptop (now for sale) and then install office 2007 on the new laptop. was
wondering how the license is affected. was thinking of just uninstalling the
office 2007 suite from the old laptop and then use the dvd's (from the retail
box) to install onto the new laptop?? question is will this count for the
third license use ?? and what happens when i buy another laptop - will i be
able to install office again or will microsoft consider that i have used all
three licenses even though i've sold the old laptop and uninstalled it??

Uninstall on old, install on new (having first uninstalled any trial version
and its activation assistant
Depends which version of Office, only Office H&S is licensed for 3 PC's and
then not for commercial use, other retail versions are licensed for 2
devices for use by the same user.
