Moving Office Professional 2003 to new computer

Recently purchased computer with Vista Home Premium - want to install Office
Porfessional 2003 (Home Use Edition) on the new computer and take it off the
old computer.
Is it as simple as uninstalling on the old computer and then installing on
the new computer? New computer has Works - which I will uninstall prior to
installing the Office 2003. I have CD and Product Key. Do I have to prove I
have uninstalled it on the old computer? If so - how is that done?
Will there be any issues with Vista?
Thanks!

You don't have to prove anything. As long as you have the retail version of
Office 2003, you can install it on your new machine and you will also be able to
activate it online provided at least 120 days have elapsed since last
activation! If not, there is always a telephone method.

Good luck and let us know how you got on with this.

In addition to what "Expert" said, if you have any trial version of Office
2007 on the new computer uninstall that also (along with any activation
assistant or wizard) and reboot the computer prior to installing your
version of Office 2003.
