Moving or Copying Speech profile in Office XP

Is there a way to move or copy my speech profile in office
XP from one machine to another. I am getting a newer and a
much more powerful machine and need to move all the stuff
onto the new machine.

I have been using the speech recognition in Office XP
since quite some time and it has become a lot accurate. I
don't want to retrain speech recognition all over again. I
have reached this point after months of using the feature.

Now that the speech profile depends on the hardware.

What if I want to format my hard drive and reinstall
office XP on it and would like to use the previous speech
profile? What is the procedure to copy the speech profile
files (backup) and then restore them once i reinstall the
OS + Office XP on the SAME Machine?

Hi Rahul,

While you can copy and move the profile files,
it won't be of much use. The profiles are both
user and hardware specific. Troubleshooting and
retraining from an existing profile may be more
time consuming than the retraining.
