Moving Outlook 2010 Profiles

Two questions regarding moving Outlook 2010 profiles.....

Question 1 - Outlook 2010 connected to Exchange 2007.
I need to reformat a couple of users hard drives and re-install from
scratch. These users have setup a quite complex shortcut tree. Is it
possible to save the profile so I can restore it onto the new installation?

Question 2 - Outlook 2010 in Internet mode (i.e. no Exchange Server
involved).
I need to copy the complete Outlook profile (e-mail accounts, data file) to
a second computer. How can I do this?

Office 2003 used to have a migration tool in Office Tools but there doesn't
seem to be anything similar in 2010.

Many thanks.

See http://www.slipstick.com/config/move_outlook.asp for steps neede
to move outlook to a new computer.

1. find the xml file at %appdata%\microsoft\outlook - it has th
navigation pane customizations

2. email accounts are in the registry - while you could export it, the
often end up corrupt. Data is at %localappdata%\microsoft\outloo

Many thanks for the response - I'm really grateful.

The navigational pane file looks very promising.

I've also found this this site:
http://www.backsettings.com/outlook-backup.html
which looks quite promising.
