moving outlook contacts to a new laptop

If you only need your Contacts and not the rest of your Outlook data, export
the Contacts folder to a PST file, then open that file and copy the contacts
in your other installation.

You can export them by using the Import/Export feature.

You can export the whole personel folder or just the
contacts. If you want just the contacts, export the file
as a windows tab delimited. save to desktop. Email to new
laptop or transfer via cd or diskette. Import file on the
new laptop. I had to take it out of an IMac using
Entourage, no fun, had to manipulate in excel to map to
correct column headings. But Outlook to Outlook should be
no problem.
