Moving outlook express folders and address book from one computer to another

Frustrated

I am trying to move my address book and folders from one
computer to another. they are networked. I have spent the
last 8 hours wasting my time going thru every variation of
online help ( some Joke ). None of the
directions/instructions apply to this. I have Outlook
2000 on both and the latest available version of Outlook
Express. Please provide step by step directions, as I have
no clue what to do at this point. A MAC is looking real
good right now !

Thanks,

Very Frustrated

Use the import export feature and export your info to a
CSV spread sheet then import to your new folder. Simple,
probably not the right way but it will work and may save
you some time in the long run.

For Outlook, just copy your Personal Folders file and configure the other
installation to use it. Your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all
the mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.Take a look at these pages for
info on Outlook data backup:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

For OE, ask in an OE group. This is a group to support Outlook from the
Office group of programs. Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and
is a quite different program despite its similar name..

You will probably get a faster and more expert answer if you post this to an
outlook express news group.

Try posting in one of these newsgroups:
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlookexpress for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlookexpress for OE 6.x

A good website for information on OE is:
