Moving Project fields into Enterprise Outline Codes

Is there a way to move or link the contents of the "generic" field and make
it an Enterprise Outline code (other than manually)?

In portfolio analyzer I need to filter out the generic resources. In order
to do that I need to have an Enterprise level code denoting that a resource
is generic.

It seems easiest if I could access the built in field in Project Pro that
already specifies whether a resource is generic or not.

I heard there was a way to pull the data from a built in Project Pro column
and dump it in the Enterprise outline code.....but I have no idea how to do
it.

You are going to WAY too much work, my friend! To exclude Generic resources
in your Portfolio Analyzer view, do the following:

1. Drag the Resource Status dimension to the Filter Fields drop area
2. Click the Resource Status pick list arrow button
3. Deselect "Enterprise Generic" from the pick list
4. Save the View
