moving .pst file problem

Migrating my data to a new computer I copied my Outlook 2003 .pst file to the
new box. While trying to add it to the Outlook 2003 there I got a message
saying *You are about to add a non-Unicode capable store to your profile.
This store should not be used to store multilingual Unicode data*. Indeed, I
am configuring the new pc to support both English and Polish using Office
proofing tools for Office 2003.

Is there a way to convert my old .pst file to a Unicode compatible one? Or,
any other way around the problem?

The old computer is running W2K pro, the new WinXP pro. Both have Office
2003 pro installed. Both OS and Office have all current updates.

I should add that my old .pst file is indeed in old Outlook (97-2002) format
as it was imported way back from Outlook 97.
Is it possible to convert it to Unicode compatible one? Or, should I just
use a new unicode compatible file for my new mai and the old one as another
pst file for the old stuff?

That's certainly the easiest option......

Thanks Gordon, but is there another option, i.e., converting the existing
file to the long .pst format?
