Moving .PST files to a disk??

S

SK

I have some .PST files in my folder list that I no longer need in my active
folder list or on my harddrive, but I don't want to lose them completely. Is
there a way to copy my .PST files (including all of the emails within the
folder) to a disk?

Thank you!

What kind of a disk? A cd? Yes, but you need to move them back to the drive
ot read them unless you use a CDRW.

Just close them (File, Close) and wait a few min, then search for them and
move to your backup media.

See http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/filepath.htm if you need help
finding the pst files.

Close Outlook. Open Windows Explorer, browse to the folder containing your
PST, select the PST, then drag it to the CD drive. Follow the prompts.
