moving right margins

I found the answer to this once, completely forget where, or how to fix it.
Please help! When I type a document and then print, I get half sentences.
Part of the sentence prints and the other part prints on the next line. It's
maddening and I don't know how to fix it. I have the margins set, I think,
so why???
