Moving tasks between projects while preserving Actuals information

When moving some tasks from one project to another, I seem to have lost all
the weekly actuals information. It preserved the totals, but the week-by-week
or day-by-day actual hours entered by resources are all now zero. Does
anyone know how to move tasks while preserving that detail?

Chris:

There is no way to move a task from project-to-project. You should recreate
the task record manually. The best practice here is to close out the task in
project one, and create a new task in project two, that picks up where the
project one task left off.
