Moving text from a document onto Power Point

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi,

I can't seem to cut & paste text from any existing Appleworks document and paste it into any slide on Power Point.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Geoff,

What happens when you try? Can you paste into other applications
without first recopying in AppleWorks?

Jim,
Yes, I have no problem pasting into other applications. But I solved this. I just created Microsoft Word docs instead of trying to use my Apple docs, and it works fine from there. Not sure why the other isn't compatible, but no worries.
