Moving the database to another systems it becomes read only!

When I move a DB from my XP Pro system to my W98 the DB
comes up as "read only"! How do I turn that off?

Did you copy the database onto a CD and then copy from the
CD to the W98 machine?

Anything you copy onto a CD will be flagged as Read-Only
(usually) and when you copy from the CD to hard-disk,
the "Read-Only" flag is carried.

Use Windows Explorer to uncheck the "Read-Only" attribute
of the file on your W98 machine.
