Moving the Follow-up flag in Outlook 2003

How can I move the follow-up flag column in Outlook 2003? In Outlook 2000
this was as easy as clicking on the column header and dragging it to the
left. In Outlook 2003, however, I can move any column but the Follow-up flag.

Use Field Chooser to remove the field, then add it back in where you want
it.

Thanks Brian, I wasn't able to sort out how to remove a field with "Field
Chooser" but I have tried deleting the column and adding it back using the
"Fields" option on the "Customize View" dialog box. And I have even changed
the order of the fields in the "Show these fields in this order:" box placing
"Flag Status" field at the very top. Again, this works for every field BUT
the "Flag Status" field. I have also tried to move another field to the
right of that field, and even though the program gives me the "Red Arrows"
indicating that this is an allowed move, the system pastes the field to the
left of the "Flag Status" field. If you can move that field in your Outlook
2003, then there must be a setting somewhere that is preventing this on my
system. Any more suggestions?

Right-click the column and choose "Remove This Column". Then right-click
the header line in any column and choose "Field Chooser". Select the
"Follow Up Flag" field and drag it to the header line where you'd like to
see it. Close the Field Chooser.

I was able to move the flag by your instructions in this thread, but when I
click an email in the flag column, nothing happens. It seems that I have to
open the dialog box to mark email as a followup rather than just clicking the
column where the flag is.

Can you help?

Can't you just right-click the message and choose Follow Up and then the
color flag you want?
