Moving the mouse closes Outlook

I have a WIN2K Pro PC running Office XP. Both Windows & Office have all the
latest patches applied. Things work very well except for 1 item. If I have
Outlook open, leave it open, walk away for a while and come back as soon as
I move the mouse it closes Outlook. No error messages and nothing in the
event log. If anyone has an idea on where to look next I'd appreciate
hearing it.

Have seen this before with a wireless Logitech mouse.
It occasionally flew into the upper left corner, generated
a double click closing the application in full screen mode !#$%&*

Can't remember cause and fix tho.

Suggestions:
- Check batteries
- Check charger
- Check receiver
- Reinstall mouse driver

Have you tried updating the video driver?
