MPEG into PowerPoint

Does Powerpoint-XP import MPEG clips? On my computer it
does, but the same clip does not load on another computer
running Win2K & Office XP. What could be the problem?

MPegs come in different versions, each of which requires a specific codec to
decode. The W2K may need to update its codecs. Have the user try and
download Windows Media 9 and see if that solves the problem.

Powerpoint does indeed import mpeg clips.

MPEG1 is probably the most reliable video clip there is in powerpoint.

MPEG2 it's not too keen on

AVIs.....generally need the correct de-compression codec to playback
properly.
