mpf clipart file extensions

Raconteur

I've downloaded clipart ("signs") but nothing can 'read' the .mpf extension.
How can I resolve this (and why does Microsoft offer these clips if they
can't be used?!)?

Thanks...

Hi Raconteur,

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with
Office problems.

Could you please tell us what led you to chose this newsgroup? We would
really like to know! :)

I'm new to newsgroups and didn't realize I'd posted my inquiry to the
public.project.pro group. Which group should I access and how do I do it?
Thanks for your help.

OK Raconteur, please tell us how you got to this newsgroup. Do you use a
newsgroup reader? I use Outlook Express and can help you with that :) You
need to find a newsgroup like microsoft.public.clip.gallery or perhaps
microsoft.public.word.newusers if you are trying to use them in Word. What
application do you want to use them in?

Thanks again Mike,

For your response. I'm not sure how I got to your news group but I note on
the left side of my Microsoft Internet Explorere screen a panel that lists
what look to be news groups. So, I'll try the Office Discussion Group "Power
Point" which is the application I want to use the clipart with file extension
..mpf and hopefully someone in that group will be able to tell me how to
"read"/use clipart with an .mpf file extension. I've tried several other
applications including Word, WordPerfect, Jasc Paint Shop Pro 9, and others
and all stay the format is "unsupported". I've even looked on the 'net and
found sites that list and describe various formats and none list the .mpf
format.

I'll keep pluging away...

Thanks!
