Hello All,

I need to send the project schedule to the Client but it should not
have resources and cost information.

So, I decided to export the schedule using the "task" map and import it
again to a new project file using the same map.

The problem is that some tasks datas (duration, work, % completed,
start and finish dates) in the imported schedule are different from the
original schedule.

Do you know why is it happening? How can I fix it? Or even, is this the
most adequate procedure for the situation?

Resources and their calendars affect the schedule. The schedule will
recalculate based on the new version you're creating. That's the tool's job.
You might try creating the view you want to pass along and printing it to a
pdf.

That´s the problem, the Client needs the mpp file to import it to his
EPM server.

Do you know another way I can hide cost and resource information?

Thanks,

Well, you could substitute all the resources with generic resources before
sending off the plan. The generics would need to have the same calendars as
the actual resources.

How can I keep resource calendar when I substitute him/her with a
generic resource?
