Guys,
my company uses SharePoint for almost everything. We currently put MPP
files up there in project workspaces. I can't seem to get the company to buy
a Project Server, so I'm trying to setup resource pooling and consolidation
using 2007 Pro.
But, Project doesn't seem to like mpp files on SharePoint. If you try to
either insert a project or use resource sharing, you get the old error:
Project doesn't allow resource pooling on a web server
I've tried to open the mpp files in 'explorer' mode using the UNC path, but
that doesn't seem to trick Project.
Does anyone have a workaround for this? I can use local mpp files, I need
to store them on SharePoint.
Please help!
Thanks.
