MPX into Project 2003

I've been trying to import a mpx file generated by Primavera, but have some
annoying problems. The major one is that for some reason MS Project 2003
randomly indents activites that shouldn't be indented and are not indented in
the Primavera database. Why is this happening and can anything be done about
it? Make it very simple, please, and not involve using other software like
Excel or Access.

Some programs here use PV, although I don't. They are not seeing these types
of problems with indenture. I recall there were some indenture issues with
P2003, but they went away with the service pack releases.

Please see if you have the latest SP2 for Project 2003 which can be found
here:

If SP2 is installed, it will be obvious under Help/About. If you already
have SP2 installed, then the problem is elswhere - more than likely in a
mapping between the two pieces of software. Have you noticed consistency in
this or is it just some files?

It's software; it's not allowed to win.

I installed SP2, but the indenture problem remains.

I also looked at the MPX file using MS' KB270139 as the spec and don't see
any data concerning indenturing, outlining or WBS. So the indenture
information is not coming from MPX.

On the patches, I had to work with my buireaucray to get the installation
disk, but I noted that there are other patches than SP2. Which ones are not
included in SP2?
