If you used TweakUI or another registry hack to turn off the MRU on the
Windows Start menu, that also affects Office. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=284896.

Thanks, worked like a charm, except I found out that I have about 4 tweaking
programs on my machine. I had to do the binary edit in regedit. Now to
remove 3 tweaking programs, so I can find stuff.
