MS 2001 Office Documents on MS Office 2004

I plan to upgrade my MAC OS from 9.2.2 to OS X - Tiger. In doing so, I
will buy and install MS Office 2004. For anyone out there, will my MS
Office 2001 documents (Excel, Word, etc.) run OK on MS Office 2004?

Yes, MacOffice 98/01/v.X/04 and WinOffice97/00/02/03 file formats are
identical.

backward compatibility, plus it offers lots of additional features.
