MS Access 2000 and MS Access XP

I have an application in VB 6.0 that uses an MS Access 2000 database. The
application is used for Data Entry, Modifications and maintenance. Some
reports were generated using ASP from the said database, that were made
available through the application as well as Intranet.

The problem is that when the application is given to a client who is having
MS Access XP 2002, reports were not available from the application as well
Intranet when the application is opened. An error message is displayed on the
web page saying "MDB file is already in Use". This did not happen in case of
MS Access 2000 and reports were available all the time..

Can anybody suggest a remedy?

I do not know enough specifics to say whether it might apply to your
