MS Access 2002 - Admin Forgot Password? HELP

I have MS Access 2002 on my home computer. Yesterday, I
set a password in the application for me as an Admin in
the User Accounts (not database specific). However, I must
have made a typographical error when I created the
password and now I cannot open ANY OF MY DATABASES!!

I thought perhaps uninstalling MS Office Professional, and
then reinstalling the software would fix the problem, but
it has not. I have also copied a back-up copy of one of
the databases back over and it still will not let me in.
There is a password assigned as the Admin, and now I don't
know what it is. What can I do?

The password is stored in the workgroup (MDW) file, not the database (MDB)
file. See if you have a backup copy of the workgroup file.

Your password is stored in the system.mdw file ... assuming you did not
create your own, new workgroup file. Try finding and renaming this file,
then opening your database. Access will automatically rebuild it for you,
and you should be able to login.
