MS Access 2002 Security Wizard

After I complete the wizard, I try to open the database again and am
prevented from doing so. I get the message "You do not have the necessary
permissions..." I don't understand this because I created the database and
am the administrator. What have I overlooked?
Thanks for any help,
Tom

The wizard likely created a desktop shortcut to open your secure database.
Use that instead.

You are joined to the default system.mdw workgroup file that ships with
Access. No users in that workgroup have permission on your database. When
you use the shortcut, it will over-ride the default workgroup file and use
the secure workgroup file you created to secure your database with.

You wrote this advice ages ago, but it saved me many hours of head
scratching and keyboard bashing.
Thank you very much.
