Hi,
I found one day dozens of MS Access tasks running in the "Task Manger".
After digging around I found that users are unaware that there's a problem;
It appears that MS Access shuts down properly for them. Any yes, the app.
can be shut down via the task manager.
So I created a blank Access project, created one form with one button (QUIT
APPLICATION), and saved it for users to test. I found that Admin. can open
and closed this new test database without leave a task running. However, any
other users trying to closes this database leave a task running.
I've reinstalled MS Access, updated the entire machine with all patches for
office and operating system (including SP2 for windows 2003 enterprise)
without any change.
Any ideas??
Scott
