MS Access 2003 SP2 FileSearch Issue

I have a form that I have created that fills a drop down list populated
with file names of excel spreadsheets in a directory specified by the
user. This function was added to my Access application when I was
using Access 2002 and it has always worked fine. It has also been
working right up until I went to Access 2003 SP2.

Now the function works for me, but not one of the main users.

What happens is that when she enters the path, it does not return any
files even though they are clearly visible when you go directly to
Windows Explorer.

Now here is the other part...

Myself and the user were using the same PC to test on. I would log in
and it would work, then she would log in and it would not. We are both
Administrators on the PC as well. The only difference is that I have
been using the same PC to test since before Office 2003 SP2 was
installed and she logged in for the first time after it was installed.
So my profile was already existing on the PC and hers was new.

I decided I would delete my profile and login again to see what would
happen. As I suspected, it now does not work for me either.

I dont know if there is really a way to compare the two profiles, so I
was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this, or if
anyone has any suggestions as to what would have changed in what is put
into the profile when it is created that is now different.

Actually, my profile may have also been there since before Windows XP
SP2 was installed
