MS Access and Adobe PDF Writer

I am experiencing an error on a Windows 2000 Professional
OS with either Access 97 or 2000 when attempting to open
or view in design a report that has been given the Adobe
Acrobat Writer as the printer. I get the following error
MSACCESS.EXE - Application Error The instruction
at "0x77fcb9b1" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The
memory could not be "written".

What is this and how do I get rid of it.

Thank you Steve.

Since this was a brand new install with 2000 OS installed
before any programs, I proceded to your suggestion #2. I
changed the printer on the reports on another ws and then
opened them on the 2000 machine.
