MS Access and printer driver

C

Carlo Dotti

I updated the printer driver of my HP LaserJet 2100.
After that, an Access Database was not able to open or print Reports, unless
occasionally.
What happened ?
Can I recover my database ?
Thank you for any support.

Is your database functioning properly, except for printing? Have you tried
compiling, compacting and repairing?

It may be that some or all of your reports have been set to use a specific
printer which no longer exists. Open the report in design view and have a
look at the properties (can't recall the exact name) and ensure that Default
Printer is selected. If your new printer is your default printer, then it
should format the report for that printer.
