MS Access database as an application

hey guys,
i'm using ms access forms as my application window and i
want to design an application that act as virus scanner.

is this posible?

if yes how can i do this,

If you are asking if it is possible to build a virus scanner using
Access....yes it is possible.
Is it a suitable tool for that job...no it isn't.

if yes how can i do this,

I'm not sure too many here have thought about using access in this way to
give you a 'potted' access anti-virus development guide.


I would imagine the algorithms used by virus engines to be complex in order
to scan at speed. VBA would not be the tool of choice.
I imagine hand tweaked (assembler) with C / C++ / Pascal would be the weapon
of choice.
