MS Access MDE on a Terminal Server. Help please

Giri Palakodeti

I deployed an MDE file on the terminal server and when I double clicked the
MDE i have the following error. " There isn't enough memory to perform this
operation. Close unneeded programs and try again.

I never had any issues on local machine.

I tried de-compiling and compacting and again compiling. I can open other
forms but only SwitchBoard is the issue. Any thoughts? Hardly there are 9
links from the MainMenu

What version of Access is installed on the Terminal System? What
version of Access is your MDE built in? Are you up to date on your
Service Packs?

It is Access 2003 on both my local and Terminal server and all the latest SP
are installed.

As Tony mentions, this is a service pack issue. Go to the Microsoft
Knowledge Base:

http://support.microsoft.com/search/

and enter:

There isn't enough memory to perform this operation. Close unneeded programs
and try again.

then choose the solution which depends upon your version.

Now there is a SP3 hotfix that doesn't generate the same errors as you
mention however it is quite important.

Description of the Access 2003 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package:
December 18, 2007
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/945674

Combo box controls and list box controls display no value or incorrect
values in Access 2003 after you install Office 2003 Service Pack 3
and more
