MS Accounting 2009 file transfer

Patti

I am trying to transfer a company file from my notebook running XP to my new
company desktop running Vista. The message I get is the I cannot open the
file as 'it was created on another machine'. I have tried backing it up,
unattaching it, etc, and nothing appears to work.

Does anybody know how to move a company file from one machine to another?

Thanks in anticipation

DL....

sp level? Service Pack? Of sba? The sba file? Excuse my ignorance, but I
don't understand.

Sorry I just realised... sba = small business accounting.

You are suggesting I need the same service pack on both machines for MS
Accounting? I did the install from the same 2009 download from the Microsoft
site. I'll check the version numbers to verify however.
