MS Binder's Menu Bar Dissapearing!

Hi,
Using: MS Office 2003 + MS Binder from Office 2000 premium edition.

I installed the MS Binder from MS Office 2000 CD (I had Office 2003
installed with all applications available). There weren't any problems upto
the extent of creating a binder file and adding office 2003 documents into
it. However when I required it to print, the problem appeared. I need to
print them all into one, and print it to a PDF is what I need. *I noticed
that when I open the MS Binder application, the Menu Bar of it appeared.
However when I tried to open a binder file (*.obd) the Menu Bar simply
dissapeared leaving only the left pane available. Further, the opened office
2003 document under the Binder didn't have it's own File Menu either.

I need to print all the office documents into one and into a PDF. How can I
do it and how can solve this Missing Menu scenario as well. Looking forward
for your response in anticipation.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Hifni Shahzard,

Unfortunately, the discontinued MS Office Binder app is available only on an 'as is' basis at this point and the issue could be with
a corrupted file, or left over temp files, a damaged Office 2000 installation or even a graphics card driver/accelerator issue.

Is this only with this particular Office Binder Document (OBD) file or with any .obd?

Are the menus missing from all file types, or only Word documents when viewed through the Office 2000 Binder shell?

What PDF printer app are you using. Some of them allow you to add additional PDF content to a single PDF by appending during
printing, merging documents stored in a single folder into a single PDF and/or by scanning to PDF. A Freeware product that supports
append at print is PDF Redirect from http://exp-systems.com That might be an other approach to 'binding' files together.

Have you run a Repair/Reinstall of Office 2000 from Add/Remove Programs in the Windows control panel?

No for all

I only added Excel and Word document....and for that I couldn't view it's
own File menus. And also binder's menu bar is missing too.

No not yet...I'll do that and come back with the results. However, I
followed this newsgroup article to install Binder:
http://groups.google.lk/group/micro...t&q=binder+-+microsoft+word+2003&rnum=5&hl=en

however there weren't any error messages poping up while installing or after
installing. Also make note...that my primary office version is Office 2003
and not Office 2000. I only installed Binder from Office 2000 CD.
