Hi,
You could try formatting the date as a custom format.
Select the cell(s) that you want to format, press Ctrl+1,
select the Number tab, and click on the custom option at
the bottom of the category list.
Where it says type, enter mm/dd/yyyy. This should override
all other settings and display the date as required.
