Hi Dale

I have just purchased "Managing Enterprise Projects in PS 2007" and it
looks fantastic. I see at the back that you are writing another
"Implementing and Administering PS 2007". Can you please let me know
when that will be available?

Also, we haven't upgraded to PS 2007 yet as we were told that unless
we were desperate to upgrade we should wait until the first service
pack is released as there were a number of bugs particularly with
timesheets.

Do you know when the service pack is due to be released and
What are your thoughts on upgrading now.

Thanks for buying our PM book for 2007. We are working in earnest on our
Administrator's book for Project Server 2007, but don't know a release date
yet. Keep watching in this newsgroup and you will be among the first to
know when it comes out.

Whether to upgrade to 2007 should be entirely a business decision, based on
your organization's needs. You have to weigh the current functionality in
2007 and its business value against any of the bugs currently in the system.
The bugs certainly make it challenging to use, but it DOES work, and can
provide business value that 2003 does not offer. Beyond this, we have
absolutely no idea when SP1 will be released. We're not privy to any
insider knowledge about that. Sorry.
