MS Home & Student 2007 Trial Install Error

My PC is a Toshiba Notebook R25-23503. I purchased it with MS Office Student
& Teacher 2003. I had to dump and reinstall Windows with my Recovery CD a few
months ago. Yesterday, when I tried to use MSWord, I got a message that I had
to "convert my trial" to a full product.

I attempted to download MS Home and Student Office 2007 60-day trial, and
got this error 3 times:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Desktop\X12-30107(3).exe.part could not
be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or
contact the server administrator.

I'd like to install the MS Home and Student Office 2007 Trial on my PC. Does
anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks very much,
Lori

You need to uninstall 03 first.

When you reloaded from the recovery media it reinstalled the Office '03
trial software that was shipped with your original machine. If you had been
using Word '03 for more than the original 60 days you had to have activated
it (converted the trial) using a code that was provided with the machine.
You need to look through all the documentation you received with the laptop
to find the product key for Office. It is not the one on the bottom of the
laptop but will be within the paperwork.

If you can't find the key, before you attempt to install any other Office
version at all, you need to uninstall the '03 trial that was installed with
the rebuild. Go into Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs in XP or in
Programs and Features in Vista to uninstall the software. Once removed,
clear any temporary files and reboot the computer before installing the new
software.
