MS Installer runs everytime an application is started

I recently upgraded to Office 2003 from Office 2000. Now,
everytime I start an office application (work, excel, etc)
the installer starts and produces an error message stating
if cant find a file (its looking for the original cd).
What causes this and how can I fix it?

Hi, Steve,

Is the installer looking for Office 2003 or Office 2000 files? Did you
remove Office 2000 when doing the upgrade? Did you perform a complete
installation of Office 2003?
