MS Office 08 Powerpoint Bug?

Recently upgraded to Office 08 and can no longer open keynote files exported to powerpoint. There's no error message displayed at all, the progress bar stops and disappears. Anyone has had this issue? Any fix?

I have the same problem both with Mac Office 2008 and Windows Office 2007.
The fix when importing to Windows Office 2007 is to open the Keynote
exported file with PowerPoint 03 saving, then opening with Office 2007.

Oddly, enough, the Mac PowerPoint 08 opens a Windows PowerPoint 07 file,
then crashes.

Same for me. Presentations created in Keynote 08 and exported as .ppt files will not open in Powerpoint 08.

Same problem. PowerPoint 08 starts to open file, then I get an error stating the file has an error then PP crashes. Interesting, as above, I transferred my Powerpoint file that was exported by KeyNote 08 to my office PC. I opened it with PowerPoint 2007 (Windows) and it worked. Re-saved it and emailed it back to my Mac and PP 08 opened it. Seems to be an issue and hopefully fixed by MS soon.
