MS Office 2000 IME Korean

I down loaded Microsoft Global IME for Office 2000 after it was installed my
calendar came up with the Korean letters for the day and month and the date
and time in the system tray were in Korean. Also anytime there is a path
displayed in the address window there is for example a, C: W with a -- thru
it, instead of C:\ That is not what I expected so I went the Control pannel
and deleted IME. But I still have the problem If anyone can help with this I
will be thankful.

Check out all Regional Options (from Control Panel) if you have
inadvertently set anything to Korean language.
